Audrey J. Sve

Audrey Sve, 92, of Two Harbors died Friday, December 26, 2025 at Waterview Shores with her daughter at her side.

She was born May 2, 1933 to Arthur and Edith (Braaten) Holter and grew up on the Iron Range and in Duluth, graduating from Duluth Central High School in 1951. As a young lady she met Leonard Sve, and they were married February 26, 1956 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Duluth. They made their home and raised their family near Split Rock. She was employed at Gooseberry State Park for many years. In retirement she and Leonard operated Country Crafts Store in Two Harbors and later from their home, and traveled throughout the region to sell their crafts.

Audrey was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading, quilting, knitting, cooking, and games with family and friends.

Audrey is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard in 2014; sisters, Doris and Emmy; and a daughter-in-law, Kris Sve.

She is survived by a daughter, Sherry (Bill) Wolfinger; a son, Brad Sve; five granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
