Barbara Anderson

Barbara E. Anderson, 81, of Two Harbors, died Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Agate Bay Assisted Living.

Barb was born January 19, 1945 to Carl and Lillian (Johanson) Lind in Two Harbors, and grew up in Castle Danger, where she lived for most of her life. On September 28, 1963 she married Daniel Anderson. She worked as a cook for several years while living in Florida, and after returning to Two Harbors, worked as a seamstress for Granite Gear, and retired after several years as a dietary aide for Lake Superior School District.

Barb was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Castle Danger and Sons of Norway.

She enjoyed weaving, sewing quilts and spinning wool. For many years she enjoyed traveling with Dan and later with her sister, Carol.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 47 years, Dan; a brother, Carl Lind; and brother-in-law, Ed Nordahl.

She is survived by her son, Curt; a granddaughter, Aly; sisters, Carol Nordahl and Martha (Al) Pierce; brother, Bill (Pam) Lind; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Castle Danger.
