Bonne J. Kohn 85, formerly of Silver Bay, died Tuesday November 7, 2017 at Golden Oaks Assisted Living in Hermantown.
She was born August 13, 1932 to Fred and Augusta (Colburn) Zeroth in Sioux City, Iowa. Bonnie grew up in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin and graduated from Turtle Lake High School. She married Marvin Kohn on June 6, 1953 and they moved to Silver Bay. Bonnie was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Silver Bay, and its Guild. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, reading, camping, cooking, canning, quilting, and playing Scrabble.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin, grandchildren, Sarah, Susan, and Ryan Lawrence; brother, Ronald Zeroth; and sons-in-law, Gregory Reinking, and Guy Shearer.
Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Melanie (Tom) Ronning, Patricia Reinking, Brenda (Scott Storms) Lawrence, and Lisa Shearer; sister, Eileen Styve, brothers, Jerry (Jane) and Richard (Kathy), and Randall Zeroth; grandchildren, Sheila, Tracy, Jessica, Derek, Brandon, Rachel, and Kari; and great-grandchildren, Eric, Avery, and Mercedes.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM service on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church in Silver Bay. Burial will be in Sawtooth Mountain Cemetery.
