Brian Coolidge, 59, of Two Harbors died Wednesday, September 18, 2024 surrounded by family and friends following a lengthy illness.
Born January 21, 1965 to Everett and Cecelia (Uppgard) Coolidge. Brian attended Two Harbors High School and worked various jobs before eventually joining the family business, Coolidge Brothers Machine in Knife River. Brian built several houses for his family and was a talented mechanic. Restoring classic cars was a hobby he enjoyed and was a member of the North Shore Classic Car Club for several years.
Brian was a great friend and a better father and grandfather. Always doing whatever he could to help those close to him.
He was preceded in death by his son Jack Coolidge and his father Everett Coolidge.
Brian is survived by his daughters Lizzy Coolidge and her children Milo, Noah, Sylvia and Lincoln and Emily Coolidge (Tyler Birkland) and her daughters Delilah and Penelope; His mother Cecelia Uppgard, step mother Sandra Coolidge, close aunt Brenda (Rick) Clark, brother Timothy (Anita) Coolidge, sister Stephanie (William) Lewis; uncle, Curtis Uppgard; his lifelong friend Lorne Mindestrom and his best friend Kyle Bergstrom.
A Celebration of Life will be held from Noon until 3 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Knife River Rec Center.
