Dylan Lopez

Dylan Lopez, 23, died Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Dylan was born June 5, 2003 to Kelly Gustafson and Matthew Lopez in Duluth and grew up in Silver Bay. After high school he moved to Two Harbors.

From his youth Dylan enjoyed the outdoors- hunting and fishing, especially with his grandpa. Wherever he was, he would find a place to fish and often returned with turtles, frogs and other critters. For the past several years, he enjoyed gaming. His favorite music was old Johnny Cash and Hank Williams tunes, and he loved to sing along.

Dylan is survived by his broken-hearted family; his parents, Kelly Gustafson and Matthew Lopez; sisters, Aleighia, Makaylee, Harper and Dakotah; his grandparents, Kevin and Annette Gustafson; great-grandparents, Jerry and Irene Simonson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his girlfriend, Kelly Jones.

Our trust is that he is the arms of Jesus our Savior forever.
