Two Harbors
Gary G. Hanson, 84, of Two Harbors, died Friday, July 24, 2026 at Aspirus-St. Luke’s Hospital.
He was born August 19, 1941 to Gustave and Lenora (Bratt) Hanson in Brainerd and moved to Two Harbors with his family in 1950. After graduating in 1958, Gary served in the US Navy, later returning to Two Harbors.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Scott and Curtis; son, Douglas; and step-son, Quincy Pederson.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gail; sons, Jeff and Gregg; step-daughter, Melissa Pederson; 5 grandchildren; brother, Donn Hanson; and nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until the 1 PM funeral service on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Two Harbors.
