Hazel died April 19, 2012, at her home in Silver Bay.
She was born July 4, 1936 in Williams, MN to Oscar Wedin & Jeanette (Dollarhide) Wedin.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Kyle Kofstad, sisters Ellen, Raberta & Jean, and a brother Don.
Hazel is survived by her husband, Clarence Kofstad, a brother, Ray (Julie) Wedin, a sister, Bonnie (Bob) Ward; her children, Michael (Kay) Kofstad, Larry Kofstad, & Janet (Micky) McMillen; 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Since Hazel thought Fourth of July celebrations were always for her, this year a Celebration of her Life will be on July 4th, beginning at Noon at her daughter's home on Lax Lake.
