Jacquelyn Bustrom

Jacquelyn Bustrom, 76, died Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Villa Marina Health Care in Superior after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

 

She was born June 28, 1947, to Marvin and Lois (Ryan) Erickson in Two Harbors where she grew up and graduated high school.  On 1/24/1964 she married Michael Bustrom.   Jackie graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and was employed at various healthcare facilities in Northern Minnesota.  Upon retirement, she enjoyed wintering in both Texas and Arizona.

 

Jackie loved playing Mahjong and had different groups she played with.  In her younger years she also enjoyed being a homemaker- sewing, decorating, and later on golfing and playing cards.  She loved her grandchildren dearly and made time to watch all of their school and sporting events and be their biggest fan. 

 

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mike in October 2023; a son, Barry; and brothers, Jay, Donald, and Rodney Erickson.

 

She is survived by a son, Kirk (Victoria) Bustrom; a daughter Heidi (Chad) Frantz; grandchildren, Brian, Alec (Jillian) and Kate (Lee) Bustrom, Logan and Bailey (Nicole) Frantz; a great-grandson, Archer Frantz; and a brother, Keith Erickson.

 

Services will be held June 29th beginning at 1 PM at Clearwater Grille.
