James Hulburt

James F. Hulburt, 95, formerly of Maple Grove, died Thursday, December 12, 2019 in Waterview Shores in Two Harbors.

Jim was born October 10, 1924 to William and Rose Ann (Obert) Hulburt in Maple Grove          .  During World War II he served in the Army Air Force in the Pacific Theater.  After the war he had a 40 year career in law enforcement working for Anoka County and the State of Minnesota.

He loved to fish and travel.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; a sister; a grandson; and a son-in-law.

He is survived by his daughters; Beverly (Dave) Kirkman, Nancy Aleff, and Jody (Brian ) Olson; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held in the spring.
