Janis B. Jenkins

Janis Beverly Jenkins, 81, Two Harbors, died Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Lake View Hospital.

Janis was born May 14, 1944 to Richard and Lily (Flaaten) Saker in Fargo, North Dakota. In June 1963 she married her beloved husband, Frank Jenkins.

Janis was an active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and it’s various organizations.

She enjoyed camping, going to garage sales, crafting and sewing, seasonal decorating, traveling to craft fairs, and coffee with friends.

Janis was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Ardell, Wayne and Laurel; and a sister, Ruth Ann.

She is survived by her loving husband, Frank; children, Suzanne (David) Filip, Terry (Lynn) Jenkins, LeiLonnie (Scott) Jambois, and Laura Jenkins; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Janis’ family would like to thank the staff of Aspirus-Lakeview, St. Luke’s and Home Hospice for the care they provided.
