Jeanne Battaglia

Jeanne M. Battaglia, 88, of Two Harbors died on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Northfield Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born on April 23, 1932 to John and Kathryn (Krizmonich) Bukovac in Kitzville, MN near Hibbing and grew up and attended schools in Buhl. After her marriage to David Battaglia, they moved to Two Harbors, where Jeanne happily and proudly raised her 5 children.

Jeanne had a great love for her family, friends, and community.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents and husband, David in 2017.

She is survived by sons, Dan (Laurie) of Duluth, Dave (Nancy) of Cloquet, Mike (Doreen) of Duluth; daughters, Mary (Tony) Zehrer of Melrose; and Lisa Battaglia of Northfield; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Due to the current Covid situation, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held.
