Jenny Vanyo

Jenny (Peterson) Vanyo, 53, Two Harbors, died Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jenny was born October 22, 1972 to Wayne and Carol (Johnson) Peterson in Aurora, Illinois, graduated from Mayo High School in Rochester before relocating to Two Harbors in 2016. She worked as a clerk at Super One and Holiday for several years until becoming caregiver for her brother.

Jenny was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Peterson in 2005 and her mother, Carol Peterson 2021.

She is survived by her brother, Jeff Peterson; daughters; a grandson; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from Noon until 2 PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. Burial will be in the Spring at Lakeview Cemetery.
