Lee Dana Olsen

Lee D. Olsen, 73, of Two Harbors, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at home.

He was born May 9, 1953 to Robert “Robbie” and Jeanne (Erickson) Olsen in Duluth. He grew up at Bassett Lake then Two Harbors, graduating in 1971. Lee was employed for a short time on the Great Lakes ore boats before becoming a welder for Husky Hydraulics and Serco.

Lee’s main hobby was time at the cabin at Highland Lake and the sauna.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife Gail.

He is survived by his sons, Jesse, Rory and Dana; a brother, Chris Olsen and a sister, Renell (Dan) Volz; granddaughters, Luna, River, and Jocelyn; a grandson, Nicholas; and several nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
