Linda Jo Hauge

She was born March 14, 1953 to John Omar and Frances (Johnson) Einarson in Two Harbors where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1971.  Linda married Jerry Hauge on July 31, 1976 and they made their home in Duluth Township.  She worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Griesy, then in the office at DM&IR Railroad, and for many years with Lake Superior School District as a bus driver and dispatcher until a stroke forced her to stop working in 2003. 

Linda was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed craft work, building stools with her father, quilting, and later learning to watercolor paint.  Visits from her children and grandchildren would light up her face.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Linda is survived by her husband, Jerry; her children, Julie (Nick) Dawydenko, Tim Hauge, and Amy (Harlan) Williams; grandchildren, Omar, Nolan, Easton, Tim, and Josie; a sister, Debbie (Dwight) Lind; and nieces and nephews.
