Lois Mcmillen

Lois I. McMillen, 87, Silver Bay, died Sunday April 19, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital.

She was born October 26, 1927 to Frank and Agnes (Lind) Thorngren in Two Harbors and grew up in Beaver Bay. After living in Ohio for many years she returned to Two Harbors in 1982, and moved to Silver Bay in 2006.

Lois was a member of the Eastern Star, Silver Star Chapter # 308 in Silver Bay.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Delbert “Gabe” McMillen, a brother, Richard Thorngren, and a sister Rita Rushenberg.

Lois is survived by her son Willard “Bill” Hangartner of Zimmerman, MN; a brother, Allen Thorngren of Silver Bay; and 2 grandchildren.

Per Lois’ wishes no public services will be held.
