Marigold Linnell
August 29, 1936 — May 1, 2016
Marigold Linnell, age 79 and a lifelong Grand Marais resident, passed away at the North Shore Care Center on May 1st, 2016.
Marigold was born in Mineral Center, MN on August 29th, 1936. She is the second youngest child in the Linnell Family, one of 12 children.
She grew up on the family farm and later in life moved closer to Grand Marais.
She enjoyed sewing, caring for her pets, shopping in Thunder Bay and Duluth and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her sister Iris Shepard, of Grand Marais, MN, and her good friend Ronnie Olson.
Private burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at the North Shore Care Center on May 9th at 2:30 pm.
