Michael J. Van Horn

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of beloved Michael J. Van Horn.

Mike was born in Sewickley, PA to Merle and Mary Ann Van Horn on December 3, 1966 and died in his garden at his forever home in Two Harbors on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the age of 58 years old.

He dedicated his services to the US Coast Guard from 1986 until his retirement on May 1, 2009. Mike was a gentle soul and was devoted to his loving wife Angela; beloved son, Alex; and treasured his paw companions- dogs Billy, St. Fran, Maxi, and Yoda.

Mike will be gone from our sight but never from our hearts. A special thank you to the neighbors and community for their support and love during these difficult times.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Monday, June 30, 2025 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 227 3rd St. Two Harbors (218-834-4659).
