Mitchell Udenberg

Mitch Udenberg, 61, Two Harbors, died Sunday February 3, 2019 at St Luke’s Hospital, after a long struggle with alcoholism.

Mitch was born June 2, 1957 to Larry and Betty (Saari) Udenberg in Two Harbors where he was a life-long resident. He was employed as a welder at Husky Hydraulics, Reserve Mining Company and LaBounty Manufacturing , and later worked at Culver’s Restaurant.

Mitch enjoyed cutting wood with his dad, cooking, and watching football.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Lyle.

Mitch is survived by two sons, Joel and Matthew; his father, Larry (Corie Maki) Udenberg; sisters, Kathy (Todd) Ronning and Jennifer (Chris) Camelon; nephews and nieces, Keith Udenberg, Jeff, Dustin and Rebecca Ronning, and Kayla Miller; his best friend Jeff Turnquist; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mitch’s family would like to thank the staff of Bayshore Health and St. Luke’s Hospice for the care they provided.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Cavallin Funeral Home. Please wear jeans and your favorite football jersey, but remember Mitch loved the Vikings!
