Patricia M. Anderson

Patricia (Leonard) Anderson, 79, of Finland, MN, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at St. Luke’s in Duluth, MN, after a brief battle with dementia.

Born on November 10th, 1946, in Sheboygan, WI, Patricia was the daughter of Clarence Leonard and Mary (Bill) Williams. She grew up in Sheboygan, WI and graduated from North High School. On Aug 2nd, 1992 Patricia married Douglas Anderson.

She dedicated many years of service to Thomas Industries in Sheboygan, WI, where she was known as a hardworking and committed employee. After retiring, she relocated to Finland, MN, embracing the quieter, more private lifestyle the area offered. During her time there, she remained active in her community, taking on part-time roles at Bluefin Bay and the Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center.

Outside of work, Patricia cherished the time she spent exploring and adventuring. She especially loved the motorcycle trips she and her husband took together and riding in their UTV side by side along the scenic trails of northern Minnesota. She also looked forward to traveling back to Sheboygan, WI, each year for family visits and her cherished girls’ club gatherings. Patricia found joy in life’s simple pleasures—long walks, her beloved fur babies, country music, line dancing, tending to her garden, and enjoying a good meal out. Among her travels, the motorcycle journeys with her husband across the U.S., including trips to Sturgis, SD, and a memorable visit to Ireland with friends, stood out as some of her favorites, often inspiring stories she loved to share. She will be remembered most for her humor and her carefree, spirited nature.

Patricia is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Douglas Anderson of Finland, MN. Her child, Michael Henze, bonus children Jeremiah (Theresa) Landwehr, Marie (Joel) Heinecke, William Anderson, and Robin Roerdink. Granddaughter, Jordan Henze, and bonus grandchildren Ethan Landwehr, Kyra Landwehr, Callie Heinecke, Allison Anderson, and Levi Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and Robert Henze.

Patricia’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at St Luke’s for their compassionate care.
