Pat Oman, 82, Brimson, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Makinen.
Pat was born March 14, 1934 to John and Jennie (Blatnick) Hobrle in Eveleth, grew up in Makinen, and graduated from Cotton High School. She worked in Duluth for several years until her marriage to Alex Oman and together they raised their family in Brimson.
She enjoyed gardening and baking for the community, and was a member of the Brimson Women’s Club and the Brimson Sportsmen’s Club.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Alex; a sister, Dorothy Highland, and grandson, John Walkama
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy (John) Walkama; a son, Tim Oman; grandson, Zach Walkama; great-grandson Charlie Walkama; sisters, Jeanette Hobrle and Mary Jo (Frank) Vesel; nephews Tom Vesel, and Bert (Tweety) Highland; and a niece Terry Highland
Services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday January 18, 2017 at Ault Town Hall in Brimson.
