Paul A. Beckey

Paul A. Beckey, 80, of Two Harbors, died Monday, May 18, 2026 at the Barross Cottage.

Paul was born July 13, 1945 to Paul J. and Oma Lea (Lackey) Beckey in Minneapolis, where he grew up and attended school. He met his wife, Sarah Nelson, while working in a record company, where she also worked. They were married July 23, 1971.

Paul worked mainly in sales, while living in the Twin Cities, selling insurance and real estate. Moving to Two Harbors, he was employed as a school bus driver, and in the summer as a mower for the Lake County Highway Department.

Paul enjoyed flying, earned his pilot’s license, and was able to fly for a few years. Moving to Two Harbors he found enjoyment in snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. He was not able to hike, but had many great trips on his machines. Family reunions were another fun time for him.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister-in-law, Sandy.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah; a brother, Ron; nephews, Brian (Angela) and David; a niece, Jennifer (Steve); brother-in-law, Tom (Kelley); sisters-in-law, Gretchen (David), Becka (Peter), and Brenda (Tom); and his dogs, Karl and Bailey.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Two Harbors. Memorials are preferred to First Baptist Church. To share a memory or leave an online condolence visit www.cavallinfuneralhome.com.
