Paul E. Bergman

Paul E. Bergman, 68, of Cook, Mn, formerly of Two Harbors passed away Nov 1, 2023, in Sunrise Hospital, Nevada after complications from many health issues.

He was born to Dean and Annie Bergman July 31, 1955, in Two Harbors, where he grew up on the family farm. Paul attended Two Harbors High School, he was very athletic and enjoyed competing mostly in football, basketball, and track. After high school, Paul had several different jobs including, J.C. Campbell’s, and Jones Products. He went to work for the D M & I R Railroad in 1978, where he stayed until retiring.

In the 1990’s Paul started, owned and operated The Bear Den in Eveleth, a spot for youth to go and connect.

He enjoyed many hobbies, including, fishing, agate picking, gardening and conversation about almost anything.

Paul lived in Cook, Minnesota in the summers and spent his winters in Bullhead City, Arizona.

He leaves behind a son, Reed (Emily) and grandson Emmett; a sister, Jo-ann (Dave) Rossetter Knife River; brothers Richard, and Clyde (Carolyn) Bergman, Two Harbors; 3 nieces and 2 nephews and many cousins and friends from Cook to Two Harbors to Bullhead City, Arizona and everywhere in between.
