Paul Slogar, 72, Isabella died Friday June 27, 2014 at his home.
Paul was born August 19, 1941 in Ely to Theodore and Olga (Perushek) Slogar. He grew up in Isabella and attended schools there and in Silver Bay. After serving in the U.S. Navy from 1959-1962, Paul returned to Isabella and worked as a logger and truck driver for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors.
Paul is survived by a son, Kenneth Slogar of Murphy City; daughters, Tammy Walters of Rhinelander, WI, and Jennifer (Michael) Tapplin of Oak Grove, MN and grandchildren, Samantha and Tyler Tapplin and Connor DeLaney; brothers, Garrick (Mary) Slogar of Arizona, and Joe Slogar of Finland; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
