Pauline Ohlund, 85, of Two Harbors died Friday, February 6, 2015 at Lake View Memorial Hospital in Two Harbors.
She was born on November 18, 1929 to Henning and Anna Victoria “Tory” (Skoog) Hanson in Two Harbors, where she was a life-long resident. She graduated from high school in 1947, and as a young woman went to work at First National Bank (later Norwest) until retiring after over 30 years. During her “retirement” she enjoyed working at Bonnie’s Clothes Bar.
Pauline enjoyed sewing, cross-stitch, baking and traveling with the Harbormates.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; longtime companion, George Svee.
Pauline is survived by a daughter, Lori (Cliff) Okerlund of Apple Valley; grandchildren, Kristy (Brian) Whalen, Kelly (Matt) McElhinny, and Bryan Okerlund; great-grandchildren, Reid, Alyson, and Michael Robert; a sister, Barb Eckel; and a brother, Bruce (Elaine) Hanson both of Two Harbors; and two nieces.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM memorial service on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Two Harbors.
