Pauline Simonsen

Pauline Simonsen, 90, of Two Harbors, died Wednesday February 17, 2016 at Ecumen Scenic Shores surrounded by her family.
She was born May 5, 1925 to Andrew and Rena (Olsen) Hansen in Two Harbors where she was a lifelong resident. Pauline worked various jobs, retiring as a rural letter carrier after 18 years.
Pauline enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, baking, the game UpWords, and doing the daily crossword puzzle.
She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Sons of Norway, and was a dedicated Meals on Wheels deliverer.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Norman in 2004; son-in-law, Don Johnson; and 5 siblings.
She is survived by her children, Peggy (Bruce “Pinky”) Lind, Tom (Mary) Simonsen, Carol Johnson, Mary Simonsen (Cleavy Hoover), Jill (Craig) Ellquist; and Joni (Steve) Brandt; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM Service on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Two Harbors. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
