Ronald Bock

Ronald W. Bock, 82, of Silver Bay died Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Lake View Hospital in Two Harbors.

He was born on August 17, 1939 to Roy and Gladys (Nelson) Bock in Brainerd, where he grew up and graduated from high school.  Ron moved to Silver Bay in 1957 and was employed by Reserve Mining until his retirement in 2002.  He then worked part time in maintenance at Tettegouche State Park for 12 years.

In his free time, Ron enjoyed hunting and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ron is survived by his wife, Karen; sons, Bruce (Darrel Davis) and Brad; granddaughters, Kelsey and Haley (Ben Clark); sisters, Sharon Rogotzke and Sally Erickson; and brother, Gary Bock.

In accordance with Ron’s wishes, no services will be held.
