Ronald Landgrebe

May 25, 1955 — July 4, 2021

Rochester

Ronald ‘Mark’ Landgrebe – “Grebe” died unexpectedly, at his favorite place to be, his cabin on Kane Lake, on July 4th.

Mark was born to Carlyle and Shirley Landgrebe on May 25, 1955, in Detroit Lakes, MN, the fourth of six boys. He would always share his stories of the adventures and mischief he and his brothers would find themselves a part of.

On September 9, 1978, Mark married Brenda Kruckenberg in Rochester. Together, they had 2 daughters, Sara and Krista. After 30 years of marriage, they parted ways but continued to have a wonderful friendship that kept the family together.

Mark attended vocational school and started his working career at Mack Trucks in Rochester for many years, then worked at Catco for a period. For the past 16 years, he worked at TEC industrial in Rochester. He loved his work family and they treated him so well. We want to thank the TEC family for all they have done and for always supporting Mark and his family.

You would always find Mark around his friends and family. He adored his 2 daughters, son-in-law, and his four grandchildren. They were his world. If he wasn’t with his kids or friends, you would find Mark at his cabin which he shared with his brother, Rick and sister-in-law, Maurita. They shared many fond memories building the cabin with their bare hands and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and lake views. Mark also had a very special relationship with his youngest brother, Paul they spent many weekends together laughing, sitting in the hot tub, flying RC Aircraft, and shooting the breeze. Mark loved to brew beer with his dear and long-time friend, Mark.

He was a “jack of all trades” and an exceptionally talented woodworker, welder, and there was not a project that Mark did not know how to do and there was nothing that he could not fix. Mark was selfless and would drop whatever he was doing to lend a hand.

Mark is survived by his two loving daughters, Sara (Tristan) Severson and Krista Landgrebe. Brothers Dave (Laurie) Landgrebe, Rob (Cindy) Landgrebe, Rick (Maurita) Landgrebe, and Paul (Masha) Landgrebe. His four grandchildren whom he adored, Rihanna and Batiste Bryant as well as Ezmae and Bree Severson. They will always remember grandpa by his hugs, smiles, laughs, and gifts of candy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gary and nephew Grant.
