In June of 2000 they retired to Two Harbors, MN, where Ken had pastored for seven years and where both of their children live.  She resided at 1431 8th Ave., until February 11th, 2014 when she was taken to St. Mary’s hospital and then to the Ecumen Scenic Shores Care Center until her demise.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings:  Irene Schaible, Lorene Seidler, Raymond Schaible, and Doris Hillius.

She is survived by two brothers, Marvin Schaible and his wife Doris of Kirkland, Washington, and Dale Schaible and his wife Faye of Mandan, North Dakota;  two brothers-in-law:  Gottlieb Seidler of Elgin, North Dakota and Duane Hillius of Pine Haven, Wyoming;  and one sister-in-law: Mary Lee DeLay of Baxter, Minnesota;  one son: Rick and his wife Shaloy of Two Harbors;  one daughter: Cindy Laine, and her husband, Al, of Two Harbors, four grandchildren:  Rachel Batt and her husband Brandon of  Two Harbors;  Michael Laine and his wife, Alaina, of  Apple Valley, MN;  Dale Jae Hoon Peterson of Two Harbors, and Dulce Maria Peterson of Two Harbors;  three great-grandchild: Jaxson Batt, Amelia Batt, and Owen Laine,  and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
