Timothy S. “Teeter” Paulson, 61, Silver Bay, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at home. 

Tim was born to Duane and Bonnie (Wolters) Paulson in St. James, MN where he grew up and attended schools.  While still in high school, Tim enlisted in the Army National Guard, serving for 20 years as the Maintenance Chief at the base in St. James, 125th Charlie Battery.

He married Susan Curry on December 10, 1983.  Moving to Silver Bay in 1995, Tim was employed by Northshore Mining, worked in construction and most recently served as PCA for his daughter, Taylor.

Although Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and 4-wheeling; spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren was most important to him.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Terry.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; children Erin (Paul) Thompson, Ryan Paulson (Callie), and Taylor Paulson; grandchildren Addison, Ava, Bella, Josie, and Taylor; sisters, Tammy Olson and Lynette Jessee (Marc); and a large extended family and numerous friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 PM on March 2, 2014 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in St. James and at 3 PM on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Tim and Sue's home in Silver Bay, 25 James Rd. with military honors at 4 PM.
