Two Harbors

Chloe Noelle Hietala, 20, of Two Harbors passed away tragically from injuries sustained in a car accident in South Carolina.

Chloe was born December 9, 2001 to Derrick and Anita Hietala. She grew up in Two Harbors, where she graduated from Two Harbors High School in 2020. Chloe was very active in school sports, her favorites being hockey and volleyball. She continued to play these sports in college, attending Crown College, and was close to graduating with a degree in Biology. She planned to continue her studies and become a Physician’s Assistant. Chloe was very goal oriented and had many dreams. She never missed a day in the gym, fitness being her life. She was also amazing at photography and drawing, leaving us many beautiful pictures and memories. Chloe had the most loving, caring heart. She also knew how to speak her mind and carried herself with great strength. Her personality was one of a kind. She had strong convictions and a passion for Christ. Chloe was born again, and we know God needed her beautiful soul home with Him, but she is greatly missed here.

Chloe is survived by her parents; Anita and Eric Frantz, and Derrick and Sarah Hietala; her siblings, Ricky, Grace, Adriana, Isaiah, Scarlett, and Ziggy; her dog, Rocky; her grandparents, Doug Cook, Dena Cook, Vicky (Cal) Lidmark, Jerry Hietala, Mitch and Nancy Churness; a special aunt and uncle April and Kyle Imholte (April was her kindred spirit and second mom); her amazing best friend, Rheo Johnson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
