Donald Larson

Don Larson, 82, died January 2, 2018 in Bullhead City, AZ.

Don was born November 20, 1935 the only child to Melvin “Lars” and Gladys “Gladdy” Larson in Two Harbors, where he grew up and lived for most of his life. As a young man he served as a sergeant in the U S Army.  Don married Darlene Dewey October 19, 1963. He was employed as a dispatcher and supervisor at Reserve Mining and later North Shore Mining.  After retiring he moved to Bullhead City, Arizona.

Don was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Two Harbors, and Faith Lutheran Church in Silver Bay.

He enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, agate picking, and railroading.

Don was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene; children, Gene (Yvonne) Larson, Scott Larson, Kimberly (Todd) Bjork, and Donna Tokarczyk; grandchildren, Nikki, Jina, Shantae, Jason, Justin, Heather, Jasmin, Mandi, Missy, Jossy, and Nick; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services were held at Lakeview Cemetery, Two Harbors.
