Gwendolyn Ronhovde

Gwendolyn Ronhovde, 82, of Silver Bay died on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at her home.

She was born on April 12, 1936 to George and Alice (Davis) Olson in rural Lake of the Woods County where she grew up.  Gwen moved to Silver Bay in 1957 and after raising her family, worked at various occupations in Silver Bay.

Gwen enjoyed sewing and crafting, and above all, time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also enjoyed her “knit and sit” group.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert Ronhovde; daughter, Melanie Esparza; grandsons, Kyle Johansen and Coal Goette; and a sister, Norma Jean Esparza.

Gwendolyn is survived by children, Robert Paulseth, Gerald (Nanci) Paulseth, Shawn (Rick) Goette, Christine Johansen, Jeffrey (Kim) Paulseth, and Randall (Tarryn) Esparza; brother, Norman (Joyce) Olson; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and several foster children she cared for.
