Raymond Boggie

Raymond Jess Boggie has left this world while living at the home of his youngest daughter, and after hearing a day of song from his children, he quietly passed. Only fitting for a man whose life was full of music, laughter, and a plethora of honed humor. Whenever asked how old he was, his response was, “Born in ‘27” Professionally he was an electrician, but at heart a tinkerer that could build or fix anything. Ray was a proud Navy veteran who served from 1945 thru 1949. Soon after he met Gretchen and they wed in 1950. They had four children who in turn gave them 5 grandchildren who in turn gave them 10 great grandchildren, and even one great great grandchild. Ray and Gretchen celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in July of 2020. Sadly, Gretchen left this world almost a year before Ray, but those two very kind and generous souls are lovingly together again. They are, and forever will be terribly missed and never forgotten by family and friends.
